People who utilise the attic for living space often dream of a roof terrace or a roof balcony to step out on.
However, because of the construction of the building the realization of this dream may not be possible or at least involve high costs.
But in our opinion nobody should forgo the comfort of exclusive living space so VELUX has designed a roof balcony style GDL which is an economical alternative.
When the window is closed the VELUX roof balcony offers a large area of glass providing lots of light and an unobstructed view of the world outside.
The window is surprisingly easy to open. The upper element opens to 45 degrees and may be parked at any desired angle. The lower element can be pushed to a vertical position and a railing will then automatically fold out at the sides.
